Pneumatic expanding adapters allow the use of cores with a larger diameter on an existing shaft.
Pneumatic expanding adapters are mounted on the ends of an existing shaft or in pairs along its entire length. They allow for the installation of cores with a larger diameter. Adapters providing greater versatility for an expanding shaft or a standard, non-expanding shaft with a circular or square cross-section.
The body, including the clamping jaws, is made of aluminum, while the expansion ring, which interacts with the core, is made of rubber. This ensures a low weight of the adapter.
A through bore is available according to customer specifications (a square hole is also available). Serial connection of at least two pneumatic expanding adapters is possible using a pneumatic hose. This allows one air valve to inflate and expand all expansion adapters.
